I have pinned and unpinned my pirate quilt 4 times. I couldn't quite get the edges lined up to my satisfaction; I've foolishly pieced the back with 2.5" squares and I want it all to 'line up' and not be wonky......now I'm realising it was probably a little beyond my capabilities as a beginner. But I have persevered and the centre squares have now all been quilted on the diagonal - still deciding what to do with the spotty border. Initially I thought I would stipple it, but I need lots more practice before I attempt that, so will ponder that one a little longer.
So far, I'm very pleased with how it has turned out; just hope the recipients mother likes it too.
This quilt is going to be beaudiful!
